The beach area of Los Cristianos,a natural bay of the old fishing port with the same name, is considered to be one of the areas with the best climate, having spring-like weather throughout the year, and the highest average of sunshine in the Canary Islands.. 

The average temperatures range between 22 and 26 degrees in winter to 28 or 30 in summer. In Tenerife there is a large variety of landscapes, this also implies a multitude of microclimates, which are one of the most striking and attractive aspects of the island.

Los Cristianos is a traditionally fishing core, a major tourist and main port area in southern Tenerife. Los Cristianos is located in the municipality of Arona and is framed between two protected natural areas such as the Chayofita Mountain and Guaza Mountain, therefore protecting the whole of Los Cristianos bay from the most adverse weather conditions

Near Playa de Las Americas, Los Cristianos has expanded around the port and its bay. It has two sandy beaches, numerous bars, restaurants and shops, an ideal area for shopping and a wide range of accommodation solutions which include apartments and hotels of all categories.
